Dr Dwight Weir NPQH - Our Executive Director
Dwight has over 25 years of experience in education, working his way through to Headteacher. He has served on 4 senior leadership teams in inner city London schools and 2 in Qatar. Dwight started his teaching career in Jamaica then migrated to the UK as an overseas trained teacher, so he fully understands what it means to be an overseas trained teacher who has migrated, qualified and settled in the UK. Over these many years Dwight has recruited hundreds of local and overseas teachers to work in his schools.
Dwight has extensive knowledge of leadership development following his doctoral studies and research into Educational Leadership. Dwight is a Resilient Leaders Consultant, a qualification that has equipped him to effectively support his leadership development training and coaching sessions. Dwight is a qualified Leadership and Personal Development Coach.
He is also an Inspector for British Schools Overseas. Dwight understands the demands of running a British School Overseas, how they should operate and the strategies that will facilitate and enable success.
